All Treatments are categorised BBA/HAPAS (Highway Authorities Product Approval Scheme) Type 1,2 or 3, with the most significant levels of friction provided by type 1. While most situations require Type 1 high friction surfacing that conforms to Clause 924 of the Specification for Highway Works, in certain circumstances such as cycleways lower friction materials may be more applicable.
